Besides Unicorn Jazz children’s book stories; she is creator of SKIP A STEP: Imparting Wisdom for Young Entrepreneur Minds. She was born and raised in El Paso and currently resides in California with her family.  She will be visiting Chicago for a book and speaking tour. Lisa will be visiting our school for an author visit and Skip a Step presentation on November 21, 2019.

SKIP A STEP is a chapter book derived after 2.5 years of research whereby 13 notable entrepreneurs and leaders were interviewed about what makes for a happy and meaningful life and authors re-wrote their answers into stories that would resonate with young minds.  All the leaders in this book had stories about challenges, hard work, struggle as they also shared their triumphs and successes.
